One thing I hate about the Internet. You have to claim your place when it comes to liking and not liking things. If you didn’t mention Michael Jackson before he died - you’re not a true fan. If you never posted Obama pictures until he got elected - you don’t really like him. If you never posted ‘Kanye sucks’ memes before the 2009 VMAs - you’re just joining the bandwagon. If you never reblogged songs of The Beatles before Rock Band was released, you’re not a true fan. If you never ranted about Twilight before ranting about Twilight was cool, then you must actually like Twilight.
It is possible for people to like things before a certain event. Just because it’s never brought up in tweets, reblogs, etc, doesn’t mean it never meant anything - negative or positive - to the person.
